The Electric Train Service (ETS) operated by Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) represents the fastest and most comfortable way to travel across Peninsular Malaysia. Spanning over 700 kilometers, the ETS connects major cities, towns, and tourism hotspots, linking the northernmost border at Padang Besar to the southern hub of Gemas.
The line is fully electrified and double-tracked, allowing modern trains to reach speeds up to 160 km/h, making intercity travel smoother, quieter, and more environmentally friendly.
